So I'm in?
Hello,

It turns out I am getting really lazy, but there we go. College has been going rather well, I may have forgot to mention that I have started college again, but this time it should be a useful qualification. I originally went in for an Army Transporter Engineer course -one year long with an Army bursary- but as I left it rather late to apply it was full, so I went with the standard grease monkey course. Both last one year so once I finish I can sign back up to the Army, although the latter has no funding so I have started a weekend job to line my pockets with. Which is nice.

There is a chance I may be moving up north to Pickering to start up a tearoom, because my life is that extreme. It should be good fun, although that move is dependent on the sale of a property as that will fund the venture. The downside naturally, will be I'll have to save up quite a bit of money to afford me to commute to and from college as I am not a fan of quitting now. Mostly because I get on rather well with the other chaps in the group.

But these things happen and if I have to quit then so be it. To add to the complication though, my PC has gone plop again and I am hesitant to fund parts to try and trouble shoot what may be wrong with it. I am assuming it is my graphics card has finally given up the go, but as I have no spares to test this theory it is going to spend a little longer collecting dust until I finally cave and splash and buy some test parts.

To end on a positive though, shortly before starting college it was my nephews birthday so we took him to Pleasure Island which was a lot of fun (even if the poor lad did get rather scared at times) and while there I took part in a rescue operation to save a young girl from losing a leg -naturally she was only in that situation because she was prating about, but all the same- which was interesting, mostly because rather than helping the girl, her family were too busy taking the piss out of her citing that she was "too fat" to help.

Which made no sense because after some minutes of holding her in place, I then carried her over to a chair after her leg was freed and she was pretty damn light. But who am I to judge?

Which was only made better by another theme park visit, this time to Alton Towers, which was my first visit there. Bloody hell that was a right laugh. I would surmise that those around you make a day, because I have not laughed as much or quite enjoyed a trip to a theme park as I did at Alton Towers. It was considerably good fun.

You can find some photos of the day here and I am of the understanding there are some videos of the day on the tube full of you. Which is nice.

Take care,
~Jordan
