She can defrag my hard drive.
Hello,

So my last order arrived today, 24x bottles of Moosehead Canadian Beer, and god damn do Canadians know how to make geed beer. Though I did notice that my desk seems to be made just for housing crates of beer. Very fruity after taste to it, which makes for a great drink. However as I left my bottle opener at home I also found that my door handle is made for opening bottles, thanks to Paul (one of my house mates) for pointing that one out to me.

Now I just need to wait until this weekend for my parents to visit and bring me my R/C. Turns out I miss read the messages I got, it said a week on Saturday and not just Saturday. Going to suck the extra wait, but I'll live, plus it should give me time to learn how the decal creation kit works.

Finally, for the first time in years I went out, I was talked into going to The Pav (the on campus club) by one of my house mates whos name I forgot (I really should ask her but it is embarrasing), then spent the night watching Hanna (another house mate) dancing, I got tired just watching. Fun was had though, great night.

Take care,

There's a reason it's illegal.
Hello,

So uni is still slow as hell (and when you do 6 hours a week that is expected), but the time spent at uni is somewhat entertaining, so it makes it all worth it really.

However, in an attempt to fill some of that free time, and because I spend too much time indoors, I've chosen to get back into R/C's, I recently ordered myself a nice Ford Escort Cosworth WRC on a TT-01, and a couple of upgrades for it, which I should get by the weekend (fingers crossed), which means I can combine my geeky hobbies without the outside world, which must be a good thing. Though I fear my paintjob would be somewhat sucky until I get some practise in doing it (I was going to order an airbrush but I spent a tad much on the kit, so to curve costs I went for spray paint until I get rich or something and can buy an airbrush). Though I guess the design I'm going to do is easy enough to recreate, I doubt it'll turn out how I want it to.

Now the hard part of waiting. Though I guess I only have about 5 days to wait, it's still a long time when you're bored stupid.

Take care,

When exactly did war become a party?
Hello,

I recently got myself a new tool kit (JCB 60 piece set), and some what wish I got the better set, It was £10, but after shipping for the one I got, it was only £2 to get the better kit (it had free shipping), but mostly, it was of better quality. But we live and learn, and I'll know for next time.

Uni is still going slow, but I'm hoping that once I get the assignment it should stop being such a bore. I've been tempted to shave my eyes as a form of light entertainment. I guess uni is aimed more at those who are into the club scene, which as it happens isn't me.

Not much to say this week, other than the lateness is due to internet issuses here, I think the uni keeps trying to cut off my connection, so when they do I just change the cable into the other enet port (2x gigabit) and it works again.

Well, you ever try shaking your ass in four-inch heels? Don't answer that.
Hello,

After almost killing myself walking around with my boots on, I have come to the conclusion it's either them, or the weather (or my shear unhealthyness) that is causing me to sweat like crap. But meh, give it time I'll get back to normal I'm sure, I mean, what's the point in walking if you don't work up a sweat?

Offically I started back at uni today, but due to major confusion (read: me being told about three different things by the same tutor), I had no idea where I was supposed to be, so I sort of walked about, grabbed a time table, met up with some friends for an early lunch, then we walked back to CI (Castle Irwell - Where I live). I also need to get my keycard setup so it opens the computer labs, rather than last year where it didn't work even though I went to get it sorted. Which was rather annoying.

I am also very annoyed with how slow Deviant Art is at shipping something. The order was placed on the 8th of September, it is now the 25th, and still it is yet to turn up at her door step. That is a long ass time, longer than it takes for things to get flown to me, and I live across the pond, you'd think someone who lives just to the north of America would get things faster than I ever would.

Finally, I've become informed about the scuba club the uni runs, which I'm rather interested in joining, agreed I'd have to buy my own kit (though I can rent until I get it all), it sounds like a great idea for me as it will build my "solical network", which I've been told is the reason why I don't like uni. And here's me thinking it's because I feel the staff are douchebags, and most of the students couldn't tell a keyboard from a mouse.

If those are his footprints… where are hers?
Hello,

As some of you should know, I am back to Salford. My house is much better than the last one, and the house mates are a lot better people, however the house is an exact mirror of my last one, so it's rather confusing having everything on the wrong side.

Like my luck could get any better this year, my PC chose to act up, and for some reason wont hold stable (I can install Windows, but it wont boot after a few restarts). All rather annoying, as I'd much rather not use Linux, on the basis that I'll be doing work on this course that requires software that is Windows only (and I'm too lazy to arse about with WINE).

I also found that I am eaither very unhealthy, or walking at my pace with boots on that weight half of what I do is a bad idea. By the time I get to uni and stop I'm sweating like hell. I think I'll wear my trainers tomorrow, see if I have a heart attack on the way. If not then I have a new target set. To be able to walk to uni with my boots on and not die in the process.

I guess that's all for this week.

Take care,
